    Im intested in the Sam Malt Collection.And wonder if you can help.I live in Litlle Staughton and we are holding VE Celabrations over the May bank holiday this year.I understand there are quite few photos of Little Staughton.We are having a display in the Chapel on the saturad 9th May by the
    Pathfinder Assosiation and wonder if we might include some of your collection as well of our village.

      Its very nice to get a genuine comment! I rang a few weeks back and supplied Sams direct telephone number. I hope you have managed to speak with him and you are on track!

  2. Hello! I am looking at producing an article about the building of Grafham Water from the human point of view, ie people’s memories, what homes, farms, churches, pubs and schools were lost to the great flood, how the plans were revealed to the public, what opposition was there, etc. Even, what souvenirs were taken by residents … their garden gate or some roof slates, the pub sign or school bell, perhaps? I was given the name Sam Malt and on googling it found this website, so wonder if anyone would like to contact me, please? (Especially at this time of Lockdown when we cannot visit the local records office).
